Years ago I had a conversation with a friend of a friend that worked at one of the big chip fabs in their lab dept. He mentioned they made very heavy use of sqlite as a file format for distribution. This was back in the "xml all the things" era and it struck me as such a smart breath of fresh air. I'm honestly surprised it isn't more pervasive. |
