There are a ton of benefits to having continuity of care, but also access to care. Do any out-of-network providers have appointments available? If so, and you can't find one in-network, you may be able to get an out-of-network provider covered as in-network due to an inadequate network. I've heard of people calling their insurance company and keeping them on the line while they call a handful of offices and get turned down for appointments to get this approved. |
