I'm 40+ and I've just handed in my dissertation for a BSc in computer science. I've also just started an MSc in cyber security. My advice. If you want to get a job just do courses that are going to teach you the practical things you need to know/are interested in. Academia is a waste of time unless you're going into academia, or an industry that requires academic skills. All the stuff I can do is self taught, though these course have taught me the fundamentals. If I knew then what I know now I would have gone a different way. |
