There's a certain point in time for any industry where it has a chance to capture both the user and the legislator. Once that happens, prices for consumers start to grow faster than wages because the industry has more money for lobbying, it's a positive feedback loop. https://www.abi.org/newsroom/chart-of-the-day/price-changes-... Political solution to this is very unlikely unless there's a major stress in the system that, at least temporarily, takes out the one piece of the price growth puzzle. |
