So the main takeaway from this is that JRuby can startup as fast as CRuby (with no trade-off) but it requires a bit of fiddling with the restore point. Looking forward to try this out, is it accessible through the docker hub yet? I couldn't find the crac branch as a tag yet. https://hub.docker.com/_/jruby |
