I've bought v1 and I'm quite happy with it as it is. It's just that I've been looking forward to the tweaks that'd been described for the last year and a half, like[0]: "We threw away almost all of v1.00X, Berkeley Mono v2.000 improves substantially on legibility, fitting, and cohesiveness, especially for bold weights."
