Sounds like a really neat idea. Most clamshell foldables have a third screen, that's used when the device is closed, but faces backwards when open. This design makes use of that.

However I feel, just like with an iPad, 10 inches is too much to hold in one hand comfortably.

The video makes it look like it has a display when folded (1/3 of the unfolded display), so I assume unfolding is optional.
You can use it in 1/3 (regular phone), 2/3 and 3/3 (ipad size) sizes
And, also: Is it just me or, with all these "foldables" and (resulting) screen form-factors ...

... are we not seeing as wide (and diverse) a variety of screen aspect rations as ever? (For good or bad).-
