Thanks! I didn't know about those other encoders. I'll try them out. I was using the deltaq-mode parameter at one point, but I took it out and noticed that literally nothing changed on the resulting images, even the artifacts were the same. (Maybe I didn't try enough images?) |

You can check if deltaq is being used in pictures, by opening the AVIFs in aomanalyzer (https://pengbins.github.io/aomanalyzer.io/), and in the Frame Info tab, check that the DeltaQ Res / Present Flag are set.
