For my personal machines, I have an early install script that turns SELinux off and makes the system boot with mitigations=off. Personal machine, behind my own firewall etc. I'd hate to be a system administrator, and despite my existing habits, this article convinces me that, if I was, I would try to actually understand SELinux.
