As an intermediate level linux user (never seriously daily driven a distro, but I do a lot of ops work and am comfortable getting in the weeds)... I really have come to prefer systemd over e.g. upstart/sysinit. I also recently moved to networkd and resolved when setting up some new nixos boxes and greatly preferred the way those worked when doing vlans and split-DNS respectively. |
