If you have a house you’ll most of the time are required by the bank (because mortgage) to have what’s called an “opstalverzekering” which is what insures damages to the house. These have a component that insures against flood damage but there are probably some limits to it.

But yes, flood damage is typically insured. Premium will vary ofc if your house is inside or outside a protected area.
