That is not the case in the U.S. The question is not about Freedom of Speech, it is about changing the laws on what is protected and illegal speech. I do not like Musk as a person, but what he is doing is an act of civil disobedience. Civil disobedience is the active, and professed refusal of a citizen to obey certain laws, demands, orders or commands of a government. I am wary of the tightening fence around what is protected speech. I am a historian, and the censors never end up being the good guys. |
