If someone is most familiar with Windows and new to programming, being new to programming will give them more than enough problems. Throwing Linux into the mix will just add friction. Later, if programming sticks they might have enough information to decide learning Linux makes sense.
It is ok for a programmer to switch among OS’s. Good luck. |
