On MacOS, you can install whatever you want. On iPadOS, Apple's the rentier middleman with the App Store. If the iPad could run MacOS, I'd search for a lightweight stand (like Roost or Nexstand K1), and use my own keyboard. Closer to ultralight computing. For a 2nd monitor, I'd use another iPad with Sidecar. |
