Some misc data on that: "America is still the world's largest importer of crude oil. From January to October, the country imported 2.7 billion barrels of oil worth roughly $280 billion." From what I could find, we export around $30x billion worth of plastic per year, and import around $12 to $15 billion worth of plastics. |
