I'm sorry I read this. It doesn't seem well thought out and reasoned. It reads like ignorant bros defending their bad behavior and empty apologies. > This second element means the misdemeanour was wrong in-and-of-itself, not merely wrong because the other party took offence. It was wrong in-and-of-itself. They don't have to believe the religion of the offended group, only understand that it's wrong to mock a person's religion. The literal truth or not (if determinable) of what they said isn't material. I imagine if I were born in another place/group, I'd have been raised with that religion without my choosing it. |
