It blows my mind that Starlink is already profitable. I vaguely remember that it was thought that they wouldn't be able to make a profit on it without Starship. Falcon 9 is just such an excellent rocket. I guess it makes a lot of sense when you can launch a cell tower into space for $200k if it can cover 100x as much area as a terrestrial cell tower at a similar price. Even if it only lasts 1/10th as long. |
