I'm pretty sure FreeDOS could even connect to the internet OOTB on my modern laptop via the 3g modem because of the USBDOS CDC support along with something like dospppd (the modem just speaks ppp over a usbcdc port normally even on Linux. You dial it just like old modems with AT commands) |
