I find these discussions so tiresome. Yes, young people are cringe, but people learn quickly and will adapt as needed. If you're worried about losing to other countries, don't. If people want to win they will work hard as long as they're allowed to and capable of it, and young people in the west are still very free and capable. Everything else is people getting mad that other people prioritize different things.

True people learn and adapt but why wait until adulthood to learn? 18+ years was not enough? It can't be good for society to prolong the path to adulthood and its responsibilities.

It's none of your business if someone decides to delay. Maybe they just enjoy being a kid? God bless we live in a free country, not a military state. If market forces dictate that they need to grow up they will.

It is my business. Society is composed of people and we need people to grow up and take on responsibility. If that does not happen, we are all screwed, including all those that refuse to grow up. Making excuses for them and delaying the time does not help anyone.
