I suspect it would be faster for many people to migrate to Canada, attain citizenship, and then take the much easier NAFTA (USMCA?) visa path if they want to be in the United States. Although it looks like many migrants to Canada just end up deciding to stay there. 30 years ago, this was a popular path for people from Australia who wanted to get to America, using Canada as a stepping stone. |
