Canada may attribute some of its problems to America, but its success, is also attributed to proximity to America.

yet we constantly need to protect our industries and institutions from american domination. we are a settler state with massive amounts of natural resources. we don’t “need” america. did Australia need to live next door to a overbearing superpower to be successful?
