Allow the adult you raised to live their own life. This is not a life-threatening condition.

I would guess the parents are paying the bills. So it's not that clear cut. Legally, yes. But they could cut him off. Maybe they should to get him to wake up. The problem is he would lose his place in school.

I got started in programming cause of my love for games. I wanted to learn how they made stuff move across the screen. My first programs were all game themed.

Amazing that there are still adults out there that don't understand how you find yourself and place in life isn't some paint by numbers book.

I agree. Unfortunately, people keep holding on to this idea of the undeveloped prefrontal cortex (which is a bastardization of the research) as an excuse to infantilize adults.
