The Lead times are a serious problem. I joined 2 months ago and can't believe it.
Ultimately we need to order in higher quantities instead of doing specific configurations per order. In an ideal world we get ahead of the curve and sell StarFighters that are physically in stock and shipped the same day. I've got some work to do the next two weeks with Book 7, Lite 5 round 2. After that, I can focus on Starfighter bringing its lead times back down to earth. AMD has not been helpful with us and open-source, Intel helps us to make this possible. Although the chip issues may make everyone skeptical about the chips, I have been told that our chips are not affected. Potentially what every company would say but its what I've been told so I believe it. I hope this has answered the AMD & Intel question. And hopefully we bring down lead times to make it a no brainer to choose StarFighter.
