If it works then why were they "absolute quacks"? There's a ton of misinformation from the "legitimate" medical community. The most blatant and recent was the FUD around Ivermectin.

The reason to loathe an advice that seems to work, but isn't backed by scientific study is:

The Placebo effect is real and strong.

There's no harm in subscribing to Placebo, if there's no downside, but promoting gets a little... meh. We like to be scientific when possible.
