It makes some amount of sense. I wouldn't be shocked if they are more concerned about lawsuits, as you get further. Also, it seems that they also have some incentive to drag it along for candidates that drop out of the process, so you have a back up. Plus, you're now busy onboarding and so it's like you already ate your meal. |
