We all have finite time to repsond to lobbying efforts of groups, by seeking to intervene narrowly with regulatory intervention we increase the burden on the public to stay vigilant across a wider range of issues. Narrowly-crafted regulatory interventions are tools of the elite class to weaken the resolve and solidarity of the working class. That's my general reasoning. |
