There is a solution for this at the OS level. It's domain names, validated through DNS. Those let the user decide if they trust the other side of a connection. Here cloudflare is showing they should nt be trusted, but because they are so big, we can't act on that. Blocking them would be bad, mocking them is the second best option. |
