There is no irony, because they are completely different things. You think that if a government decides that its citizens should be granted extra privacy protections from corporations and individuals, then it's only right that they grant the same protections from law enforcement? I guess it's also ironic that my government prevents McDonalds from locking me up, but will lock me up themselves if I commit a crime? |
