Yeah, airlines make "more return on capital" by faster turn-around of planes to a point - if they are utilizing their airframes above 80 or 90 or whatever percent, the airline itself becomes extremely fragile and unable to handle incidents that impact timing. We saw the same thing with JIT manufacturing during Covid. |
