This is literally my childhood / teenage years, and I was born in the 90s. Seems like everything changed when our dopamine systems were highjacked by handheld screens. Started to see the first glimpses of this, everyone crowding around my IPod in shop class to watch a crazy Aphex Twin music video I put on it, or even watching a movie on the Ipod, hooked up to my car speakers with my gf sitting in the school parking lot
