I don’t really agree. These things are extremely small. An outage for 1-6 hours is negligible. Russia has failed all of its strategic objectives including an effort to maim Ukrainian power infrastructure. I wouldn’t have been totally surprised if Russian cyber attacks were genuinely capable of disabling large parts of critical networks. But I’m glad to see they’re not. |
