I think that if civilized people keep tolerating and normalizing warfare long enough then it eventually catches up with them in their own country. Exactly what you are supposed to do to stop it, I am not sure. But just complete acceptance or even enthusiasm for warfare is not a safe or necessarily sane response. I also think that part of this is that people latch on to simplified one-sided fairy tale explanations of conflicts. |

To be fair the whole Russia-Ukrain conflict boils down to "Russia taking shit that's not theirs". Pretty easy to take sides there.
