Following the path of least resistance. There is usually a difference between managers who are there for the paycheck, and managers who want to make a difference. Inspired managers and leadership are huge assets, those who want to do as little as possible and not really.. manage, anything, are a bit of a waste of a high salary. More often than not the second type has a middling technical background, and can't really manage a technical team because they don't know how. |
