Every car I've been in with Adaptive Cruise Control (which I think is standard on ID.4) allows you to activate the system at any vehicle speed but with a set minimum cruise speed (20+ mph in my experience). It's a useful feature in traffic where you'd want the car to keep distance with the car in front of it even below 20+ mph. But combine that with lackluster AEB, poor detection of stationary objects, and capacitive buttons and its a real problem. |
