My experience is that AI tends to surface original content on the web that, in search engines, remains hidden and inaccessible behind a wall of SEOd, monetized, low-value middlemen. The AI I've been using (Perplexity) thumbnails the content and provides a link if I want the source. The web will be different, and I don't count SEO out yet, but... maybe we'll like AI as a middleman better than what's on the web now. |
