I think it might be worth considering whether you’ve had a privileged upbringing. Thinking back on it, the majority of people probably would have been content to play games all day. You could argue that that’s learning, but unfortunately it’s not the kind of learning that society tends to reward. I’ve heard that kids in upper middle class circles are totally different in this regard though. Maybe they want to do more on average. |
