the same series of videos that launched this, also confirm that chips like 13700T are degrading (or at least crashing). So it’s not nearly so simple as “too much power/voltage” - this is happening in 35W chips. There are at least 2 causes and failures modes, intel has already confirmed eTVB=off was a problem and could cause degradation due to excessive heat. The other suspect right now is the ring bus degrading, perhaps. |
