I appreciate all your comments in this thread. I wasn't aware of how competitive Flatpak was and I still haven't played with the technology - but I am more interested in it now. Also for the record, I wouldn't have complained about them primarily linking to a Flatpak. It seems like a perfectly reasonable alternative to a shell script installation. |
