I love your hot take, but you forgot the nonlinear transformation which lets the "god equation" represent literally everything. The post makes a nice point but it's not really surprising that everything can be modeled by an equation capable of universal approximation. What I don't get is how genetic systems relate to this. They don't hook into it cleanly and the author just jumps right past them even though they're the most fundamental (biological) system of all those described. |
