There was the Ross SPARCPlug[1] that was a whole Sun SPARCStation 20 clone the size of a 5.25" hard drive. Now you can have your Unix workstation and Windows machine in one box![2] [1] http://www.bitsavers.org/components/rossTechnology/Ross_SPAR...
[2] It was a way better idea than reality, mostly because M-bus CPUs ran really, really hot so the whole thing was kinda flaky and loud. |
