The best way to learn any technology is to use it in a project. If you're between jobs you have more time to spin up weird experimental side-projects than most people. It's a bit harder to spin up sideprojects for stuff like Kubernetes because it's pretty expensive to run, but there are plenty of related technologies - like Google Cloud Run or GitHub Actions - that are excellent fodder for small experimental projects to kick the wheels on them. A great thing about side projects is that they're a risk-free environment for experimenting with new technology. |
