I stopped reading after the initial paragraph: "GPT-2 to GPT-4 took us from ~preschooler to ~smart high-schooler abilities in 4 years." This is what Murati claims when she says GPT-5 will be at "PHD level" (for some applications). This is a convenient mental shortcut that doesn't correspond to reality at all. |
