There are separate HN guidelines for Show HN posts: https://news.ycombinator.com/showhn.html and there is a link there to tips from the moderators. Beyond that, I'd add that Show HN is specifically not a way to weasel around the guidelines prohibiting advertising and marketing, self-promotion, or soliciting customers. Such posts get ignored or flagged. |
