I really recommend to read Andrew Adamatzky's [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_Adamatzky] work. I used to study in the Master's program with his son and one day he gave me one of his books "Dynamics of the Crowd-Minds" [https://www.worldscientific.com/worldscibooks/10.1142/5797#t...]. It changed my life.
