AngularJS support has officially ended as of January 2022. Angular is the actively supported "version". My vague memory of this is that AngularJS from v1 to v2 was such a huge difference (and arguably some percentage of the community qualify this update as a colossal f up), that they decided to go with a different name, and they also came to their senses and their backwards incompatible changes are no longer so bad. |
