If it's such a non-issue and doesn't indicate the predilections of the author, why not change it to be neutral? Where is the harm? Isn't being more inclusive on an open source project better? It seems the author is taking an explicitly political stance by vehemently opposing something as simple as neutral pronouns in a README. |
