I cut out sugar for a month recently and my sleep cut in half and my depression really worsened. Really affected my job performance. I didn't think it would last that long or be that bad. It's crazy. I went back to eating bit of sugar and the same night had a great sleep. Not sure what to do now. I find it easy not to eat it but the side effects are very difficult to deal with |

Experiment with gradually more sugar till you find a right balance then get back to cutting in very small steps.
