They aren't, but that's what the customers want. They don't care about all this generative stuff, what they really care about is getting answers to questions. This is the expectation and whoever cracks this reliably will be the next Google.

Right, but right now they aren't getting answers to questions - they are getting confident bullshitting which may or may not be true. I don't think that the general public has caught onto this nuance yet, but with enough cases of LLMs biting people in the ass (like that one lawyer who submitted ChatGPT hallucinations to a court), that may well change.
