They violently killed their opposition after their election victory. They’ve severely curtailed the freedoms of the people they’ve ruled in Gaza, famously, for example, executing their own commander because he may have been gay. They’ve misappropriated billions in aid to build tunnels and construct weaponry. Theyve started a war against a much more powerful enemy that they have no hope of winning. In this war they consistently use their civilian population as human shields. In this war they consistently refuse to allow the civilian population to seek shelter in the tunnels they spent billions in aid building. In this war, that they are losing, they’ve consistently rejected multiple offers for a ceasefire. All of this while much of their leadership actually resides in Qatar. |
