The notion that Apple is punishing one of the largest markets on the planet by disincentivizing them from upgrading to the next generation of hardware seems like something you didn't really think through. The AI thing will be the #1 selling point of the 16 and onwards, and you can be assured that Apple wants it in the EU. Apple, as with most mega-cos, needs to be reigned in and corralled by the governments of the world. But let's be real that the EU in some of their actions has grossly overreached and offered up impractical demands, while strangely targeting only American companies. |
